A Taste of ALL The Flavors of HalloWeekends
Trick or treat, spooky friends! The skeletons are out, the leaves are changing around The Point and the scent of autumn is in the air…LITERALLY! That can only mean one thing – HalloWeekends is in FULL (Wave)Swing(er)...haha get it?
This year's Flavors of HalloWeekends specialty fall food menu is here to haunt your taste buds with delightful frights. Just like our haunted houses and scary mazes filled with surprises, our incredible culinary team, led by Executive Chef RJ Sinwald, has brewed up a cauldron of deliciousness for you to indulge in during your visit to HalloWeekends.
Let’s start at the Main Gate and work our way through the park on this culinary journey filled with all the different kinds of fall festival food and Halloween desserts you’ll want to TREAT yourself with:
PUMPKIN PIE SPICED CHURRO STICKS
First, at French Quarter Confections with the Pumpkin Pie Spiced Churro Sticks. These crunchy, yet soft churros are rolled in pumpkin pie spiced sugar and topped with apple pie filling & caramel sauce. Each bite is like a spellbinding journey with just the right amount of spice and sweetness - it makes for the perfect fall sweet treat.
OKTOBERFEST PIZZA
Next up at Hugo's , we have the Oktoberfest Pizza, a pie that pays homage to the spirit of Oktoberfest. Topped with savory smoked kielbasa, mashed potatoes, sauerkraut and caraway seeds, it's a slice that'll have you doing the chicken dance.
MAPLE SAUSAGE ON A STICK
At Hot Potato we have well… something DIFFERENT than our world-famous fresh-cut fries! We have the ever-popular Maple Sausage on a Stick with a spicy sriracha and maple syrup dipping sauce for all my double dippers. It's a harmonious blend of sweet and spicy, like a potion brewed by a mischievous witch.
SPICY NASHVILLE CHICKEN AND WAFFLE
Just a little walk down the Main Midway at The Corral is a thrilling combination of our signature hand-breaded chicken tenders, tossed in a classic Nashville hot sauce on top of a fluffy pearl sugar waffle, perfect for a hungry ghost hunter, and it’s not too far from The Haunting at Eerie Estate, one of our haunted attractions.
CHEESECAKE CHIMICHANGA
For those with a sweet tooth let’s slide on over to the Cedar Point Grand Pavilion Snack Bar (located upstairs) where you’ll find the Cheesecake Chimichanga topped with apple pie filling and caramel. Deep-fried and filled with all these fall flavors, it’s a dessert that is sinfully delightful.
RING OF FIRE SMOKED CHICKEN WINGS
Now we’re next to Magnum XL-200 smelling the delicious, smoky and meaty smells at BackBeatQue. BEWARE: these chicken wings are not for the faint-of-heart, and they didn’t get their name for being sweet like candy corn. The Wings of Fire Smoked Chicken Wings are smoked and then tossed in an extremely hot sauce. They’ll be sure to ignite your palate with their smoky and fiery flavors, making you feel like you're really in The Brimstone Club.
BREAD BOULE’S
Let's wander over to The Farmhouse Kitchen and Grill, where you'll discover their bewitching Bread Boule’s (pronounced “BOO” luh) FILLED with our signature chili, or (for our vegetarian friends) the broccoli cheddar soup. The warm, hearty comfort of these Bread Boule’s will fill you up on a chilly autumn day.
SPIDER CUPCAKE & “NOT SO POISON” APPLE CUPCAKE
Lastly, we end on TWO sweet delights at Frontier Inn. Let’s start with the Spider Cupcake, although you may be thinking “SPIDERS ARE SCARY”...but I assure you this chocolatey goodness is not to be afraid of! Our Pastry Chef Elka Kanuk has perfected a sugary spider web to make these cupcakes look picture-perfect, topped with mallo frosting and your very own chocolate spider.
Onto the “Not So Poison” Apple Cupcake, a wickedly inviting sweet treat. This cupcake won’t put you to sleep, but it will enchant your taste buds with its apple and cinnamon flavors topped with buttercream frosting and a red candy apple shell – Chef Elka is a GENIUS.
As the moon rises and Screamsters come out, remember that HalloWeekends at Cedar Point is not only about our amusement rides or the thrills and chills of our scary mazes. It's also a time to savor the flavors of the season, where culinary magic awaits you all throughout our Halloween event. Whether you're a witch, a vampire or just plain hungry, this year’s Flavors of HalloWeekends will cast a spell on your taste buds that you won't forget.
