2021 Winter Chill Out

Tony Clark

Director of Communications

Welcome to 2021 and what we hope will truly be a joyous year of celebration here at Cedar Point. So how about we start now?!

One of the events we know you look forward to is Winter Chill Out, our annual behind-the-scenes winter tour of America’s Roller Coast.

The good news – it’s happening!

This year’s Winter Chill Out is scheduled for Saturday, February 20 here at the park. In the current environment, a few things remain the same, but a lot has changed, so please read a few of these bigger points before clicking through for more info.

  • All current COVID-19 safety protocols will remain in place; this includes wearing masks, social distancing, health screenings, sanitizing, etc. You’ll see the full list of protocols on the event page
  • Winter Chill Out will remain a timed, self-guided tour
  • Behind-the-scenes areas will still be highlights on the tour
  • A modified Q&A will still be held; more on that later
  • We’ll still provide a delicious, socially-distanced lunch!

The thing we love most about this event is the chance to help great organizations. Once again, we’ve partnered with A Kid Again, who provides amazing experiences for children and their families. All proceeds from the event go directly to A Kid Again – we do not keep any of it, and all time/resources/etc. are all donated by park staff and volunteers.

Winter Chill Out tickets will go on sale this coming Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. (eastern time). This event does and will sell out, so get your immediate family group together to decide which time slot you’d like to pick, as you’ll still have to choose that when you purchase your ticket, and we’re unable to make changes once you’ve purchased.

You can get more information on Winter Chill Out, and purchase your tickets when they go on sale, by visiting this page in our events section.

We look forward to seeing you back at the park!
