Chill Vacationers Itinerary
Laid-Back, Stress Free
Not everyone craves heart-pumping, adrenaline-generating attractions. Sometimes, vacation is all about relaxing and doing less. Take your mind off the problems of the real world and read through this itinerary just for you…but don't hurry. There's no rush.
Grab your favorite morning hot beverage from Starbucks, located inside Hotel Breakers, and take a walk down the new and improved Cedar Point Beach Boardwalk to watch the sun rise over Lake Erie.
Walk over to Cedar Point Shores Waterpark for some chillin' and relaxin'. Grab an intertube and float down the lazy river…nice and easy. Take a lap…or two. Then, you can head over to Breakwater Bay wave pool and lay down on a pool chair while you read your favorite book or pop in headphones while you soak up some sun.
All this relaxing can sure work up an appetite. Stop into Dockside Grill at Cedar Point Shores for some chicken fingers, a cheeseburger or all-beef hot dog and a side of crispy fries. Polish off your lunch with a sundae from Beaches & Cream.
It's time to find a beach chair at the Cedar Point Beach and see your worries float away. Lather on the susncreen, put on your shades, and enjoy the sunshine. You could even take a nap or cool off in the fresh Lake Erie waters..there's no salt here.
After you've enjoyed some time in the sun, listen to live music from the Toes in The Sand Band as they jam out to your favorite island tunes at the Sand Bar at Hotel Breakers. Or, head back over to Cedar Point Shores, pull up a chair to Schooner's Bayside Bar and jam out with Summerdaze Band. Both live bands play at select times on select dates.
Grab some dinner in FrontierTown, a section of the park that has been refreshed for the opening of Steel Vengeance, our newest roller coaster. There's plenty to offer here - burgers at Round Up, Buckaroo's Burritos, crispy fries and more. Stop in to the Palace Theatre to watch Lusty Lil's French Revue for an all-new live show or enjoy the outdoors with a mix of traditional bluegrass music from Bluegrass Jamboree at the Gossip Gulch stage. Shows played at select times on select days.
Wake up early to have Breakfast with the PEANUTS in the Lakeside Dining Room, starting June 9. After you've filled your belly, head over to the Cedar Point Marina and hop on the Jet Express to cruise to the islands: Put-N-Bay or Kelleys.
Enjoy your time at your choice of island, a setting unique to Lake Erie. Put-N-Bay offers many bars and restaurants while Kelleys offers camping and family fun. Whichever you choose, convenience will be a shore thing as you can hop right back on the Jet Express and cruise directly back to Cedar Point.
If you haven't had enough relaxing time on the water, take a fishing or boat charter our of the Cedar Point Marina and enjoy more Lake Erie waves. You might be lucky enough to catch some Lake Erie perch, walleye or rainbow trout!
All that time in the sun and on the water works up an appetite. Have lunch at Famous Dave's at the Cedar Point Marina for some mouthwatering BBQ and refreshing drinks. Cool off with an ice cream cone from Toft's and be sure to try our Cedar Point flavors like the NEW Brownie Bandit, NEW Cotton Candy, or Valravn Salted Caramel Fudge Truffle. Catch another live show - Lights, Camera, Action at the Jack Aldrich Theatre. This toe-tapping show has all your favorite musical moments from the silver screen. Showtimes vary by time and date.
If you aren't attracted to our world-class roller coasters, that's okay. We have rides for every level of thrillseeker -even laid back thrills. Ride the Midway Carousel for that old-time, classic feeling. Or hop into an easy afternoon drive with Antique Cars. The Giant Wheel and Sky Ride both provide breathtaking views of Lake Erie and the Cedar Point penninsula.Day
