What are the hours for the Season Pass Center?
The Season Pass Center will open for early processing before the park opens. A complete schedule will be released soon.
Where is a Platinum Pass valid?
A Cedar Fair Platinum Pass is valid at all Cedar Fair amusement parks and outdoor* waterparks across North America. This includes:

*Platinum Passes are not valid at Castaway Bay Indoor Waterpark. Platinum Passes are not valid at any seasonal events at which an additional admission fee is charged. Platinum Passes may not be valid for entry at special events at select Cedar Fair parks.
Is there a designated drop-off area?
There is an area near the main entrance designated as a drop-off or pick-up area. All vehicles entering Cedar Point’s parking area during the day to drop off or pick up a guest will be charged the full parking fee as they enter. Please let the toll booth cashier know you are just dropping off or picking up guests. If you depart within 30 minutes, you will be given a refund of the parking fee. The .50 road toll is non-refundable. To receive the refund, you must stop next to the Main Tollbooth or Chaussee Tollbooth as you are exiting, and present the parking ticket to the attendant for validation and refund.
Do you offer discounts for groups?
Yes, as long as you have a party of 15 or more. For complete details, visit our Group Sales page.
I’m not a rider. Do you have a special price for me?
Cedar Point does not have a non-rider discount. The park has a lot to offer for those who cannot ride our more extreme attractions, including live shows, gift shops, restaurants, a beach, boardwalk, calm and gentle rides, and much more.
Can I leave the park and re-enter?
Yes. Please get your hand stamped as you exit.
What happens if it rains?
Cedar Point does not offer rain checks. Depending on the type of precipitation and/or wind, certain rides close. Visit the ride policies and procedures page for a complete listing of rides affected by the weather. When it rains, we suggest taking in a great live show or taking a break to eat. For accurate weather forecasts, please use zip code 44870 when searching a weather site for the forecast.
Do you have on-site hotels?
Yes we do! Cedar Point is a large property, so we suggest staying for multiple days. Our resort hotels offer benefits no other local hotel can match – Early Entry (get in an hour before the general public), discounts on single-day and multi-day admission tickets and the close proximity to the park. Visit our hotels page for details on our various properties.
Can I smoke at Cedar Point?
For the comfort of all guests, smoking of any kind, including vapor and e-cigarettes, is only permitted in the designated smoking area just outside the Main Gate. Please refer to our map for the specific location. Smoking is not permitted inside Cedar Point. Thank you for your cooperation.
Which credit cards do you accept?
Cedar Point accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover & American Express for park admission, restaurants and at most gift shops and quick service food locations.
Do you sell gift cards?
We do! You can purchase gift cards by phone at 419.627.2309. You can also purchase them at all Cedar Point hotel properties, the Group Sales Booth, Bay Harbor Restaurant, Season Pass Center and Marina Office. You can use the gift card at all food locations, merchandise shops, admission booths, hotel properties and Cedar Point Shores. The gift card is not valid for arcade games, midway games or at Panda Express. Gift cards are not accepted for online purchases.
If I lost something at the park, what do I do?
If you’ve lost something, you may report it missing online or on one of the computers at Guest Services. You must fill out a missing item report online in order for your item to be returned if found. Once the report is submitted, you will be sent updates on your item. Please note that if you’ve lost an item on one of our rides, our ride hosts may not be able to retrieve it immediately, so please fill out the missing item report online. Unclaimed items may be disposed of after 48 hours. As a reminder, Cedar Point is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged articles.
If you’ve lost your Season Pass, please check at the Season Pass Office, located on the left side of the Main Entrance.
Can you make an announcement in the park so I can find my party?
Cedar Point does not have a public address system, so please make sure all members of your party have a communication plan. We do have Lost Persons/Message Centers located in Kiddy Kingdom and at the Town Hall Museum in Frontiertown.
Can I pack my own lunch and bring it into the park?
Guests are not permitted to bring any food or drink items into the park. However, individual, unopened water bottles, as well as special diet/need items, may be brought into the park. We do have public picnic shelters located outside the Main Entrance. Guests with coolers, baskets and other carry-in items can place them on a picnic table in these areas. Cedar Point is not responsible for items left unattended in the picnic shelters. Shelters are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Cedar Point Shores Water Park does not have a public picnic shelter.
Do you offer free Wi-Fi?
Wi-Fi is available parkwide.
Can I rent a locker for the day?
All-Day Lockers have in/out privileges all day with no restrictions. All-Day Lockers are located just inside the main gate (near Ocean Motion) and at Cedar Point Shores Waterpark. All lockers accept cash and credit cards only. Coin and debit cards are not accepted. There are NO overnight rentals.

In-Park Ride Lockers
NEW in 2018, try out moveable lockers! This option is only available at ride locations. Rent a locker that can move from location to location all day for $10. There is a 3 hour time limit at each location rented, with a $1 per hour overtime fee.

Can I rent a larger bin for items that do not fit in a locker?
Yes, bins are available for rent at the Rental Center near the Main Gate. Bins are for larger items or if the lockers are full. The following items cannot be placed in the bins: Food items, coolers, luggage or valuables (cameras, purses, etc.) Bins are rented on a one-time in, one-time out basis. Partial contents cannot be removed from the bins or additions made to the bin during the day. The entire contents would need to be removed and then another bin rented if available (for an additional fee).Rental fees vary. Please call 419-626-0830. ext. 2571 for rental fees.
Can I take my bag or other belongings on a ride with me?
Loose article policies vary for our rides. Visit our Ride Policies and Procedures page for more information. Note that Valravn, Top Thrill Dragster, GateKeeper, Rougarou, Magnum XL-200 and Millennium Force riders are required to store their belongings (purses, prizes, video cameras, etc.) in the secure lockers at various ride's entrance's as they are not permitted in line or on the rides.

Do you have Strollers and Wheelchairs available for rent?
Yes, Cedar Point offers a rental fleet of Strollers, Manual Wheelchairs and Electric Convenience Vehicles (ECVs) that may be rented on a one-day basis. Overnight or multiple rental days are not available. Rentals for wheelchairs and ECVS are available online at cedarpoint.com/rentals, nd must be made at least 24 hours in advance of your arrival of at the park. We also accept reservations for ECVs and Manual Wheelchairs by calling the Merchandise Office at (419)-626-0830 at ext. 2571. ECVs are available at Joe Cools Corner Store by reservation only. All non-reserved rentals including Single/Double Strollers, Manual Wheelchairs, and ECVs will be available on a first-come, first served basis. If guests are in need of these convenience items, we strongly recommend that they provide their own. There is absolutely no guarantee that vehicle choice will be available upon arrival on the day of their visit. For more information, please call the Merchandise Office at (419) 627-2173.

Does Cedar Point have a Dress Code?
Yes, Cedar Point has a dress code designed to maintain the park's family atmosphere. We do not allow clothing generally considered offensive. Profanity, obscene gestures, obscene statements, pictures of illegal substances, motorcycle colors, insignias of para-military groups, all gang related items or clothing, costumes or disguises that conceal identity and adult full-face makeup are prohibited. Shirts and shoes must be worn at all times, including entering or leaving. Swimwear must be sufficiently covered. Cedar Point reserves the right to refuse admission to anyone who refuses to comply with the dress code. If you have any concerns about your dress, please contact Guest Services and/or the Police/Security office just inside the main gate.
Where can my pet stay while I'm in the park?
Although you're welcome to bring your pet on the property, pets are not permitted inside the park. That's where Pet Chek comes in, located near the Bay Harbor Restaurant, across from the Preferred Parking lot.
For just $15 per animal, per day, your pet will be provided a cage or run and fresh water. Owners may return to feed their pet throughout the day. Overnight lodging is not available.
Please note that our staff does not feed, walk, handle or provide special care or feeding times for pets. Reservations not accepted.
Pet Check is open one hour prior to park open until park close. All pets must be picked up by Cedar Point closing time.
Where can I redeem my Ride & Refresh wristband?
Ride & Refresh vouchers may be redeemed at any of the park's quick serve locations.
Does Cedar Point donate tickets?
Cedar Point is pleased to donate a limited amount of tickets to charitable organizations and qualified applicants. The park does not donate Season Passes, overnight accommodations or tickets to Cedar Point Shores Water Park and Castaway Bay. All donations are based on need and are limited to an application period at the beginning of each year, usually in January & February.
Once donations are dispensed for the year, the application form will close and you are encouraged to apply in the following year.

Does Cedar Point provide a Military Discount?
Cedar Point is pleased to provide discounted admission for all active, retired and honorably-discharged members of our Armed Forces. Proper ID required to validate.

What security procedures are implemented at Cedar Point?
The safety of our guests and associates is our number one priority, and we have implemented several enhanced security procedures at all entrance gates. As part of the process:
- Guests arriving at the park will go through metal detection every public operating day.
- All bags, purses, backpacks, waist packs, etc. will be examined prior to entering.
- Sharp objects (including pocket knives and metal chains), firearms, or other items that could be considered a weapon are strictly prohibited and should be left at home or secured in your vehicle.

We use a variety of methods in securing our parks including uniformed and plain clothes officers, and video surveillance monitoring.
Cedar Point does not tolerate guests who fight and/or harass other guests while on our property. People who engage this behavior are subject to being ejected and potentially banned from the park, and may be subject to arrest by local police.
Cedar Point Drone Policy
All drones (Unmanned Aerial Systems) are prohibited at (in) all Cedar Fair parks, including Cedar Point, and any unauthorized drone(s) observed over Cedar Point will be reported to the FAA and local law enforcement, regardless of its point of origin or operation. Drones may pose a potential safety risk and may violate Federal Aviation Administration guidelines.
Are cameras and/or Go-Pros allowed on the rides?
No, please refer to our loose article policy.
Can a different person use the second day of a two day ticket than the person who used the first day?
No. Photos are associated with two day tickets and must be used by the original ticket holder.
Can I leave the parking lot and return the same day without paying again?
Yes, you must present your original receipt at the toll booth upon returning to the park.
What procedures do you have in place to minimize the spread of illness amongst your guests?
We are strict and thorough in the steps we take and the processes we use to keep our properties safe and promote a healthy environment. To protect our guests and associates and prevent the spread of illness, we employ rigorous sanitation standards and robust cleaning procedures, including:
- Extensive training for associates on maintaining a safe and hygienic workplace and environment for our guests;
- Appropriate personal protective clothing and gear for associates who are assigned for cleaning duties;
- Specified intervals for frequent cleaning and disinfection of targeted areas throughout the day;
- Procedures for cleaning and disinfection of areas throughout the day and where illness has been suspected or reported;
- Quick response to spills, trash and other situations;
- Daily sanitation procedures, for everything from bathroom faucets and sinks to kitchen and dining surfaces, benches and trash cans;
- Daily cleaning and “wash down” of outdoors locations, including walkways and queue lines;
- Guest and associate first aid locations to assist with minor health issues.
We maintain close relationships with local, state, national, and international public health authorities, and take their guidance when additional preventive measures are needed.
