Pretend You Are A Paleontologist

Pretend You Are a Paleontologist

Have students write a journal entry about what life might be like on a dino dig excursion. What do you do, what do you see, what do you feel? Did you find anything special?

Fossil Dig

Fossil Dig

Have students go on a fossil dig either at school or at home. Hide fake bones in the sand or bury them in the dirt before students are aware of the activity. Have the students use brushes (paintbrushes or toothbrushes) to locate and clean their findings.
