It’s time to revisit the transformation of our Sawmill Creek property. We’ve already gone inside to see the construction progress, and as crews continue that work, we have some beautiful digital renderings to show you.
These images give us a first look at how the resort will shape up once all the dust settles and we’re ready to open the doors in 2022.
If you’re on your way to us from Cleveland or other points east, chances are you’ll exit on Rye Beach Road and follow RT 6/Cleveland Road to get to the park. Once you turn onto RT 6, the entrance to Sawmill Creek will greet you on the right (or the left if you’re heading out):
We’ve shared this image before, but the property entrance experience is in the process of turning into this:
Once inside, gone is the traditional boxed-in check-in desk. In its place, you’re greeted with Sawmill Creek’s vibe right off the bat – contemporary retreat.
After check-in, you’ll probably head to your room. From the carpet to the ceiling, they’re being prepared for the first guests. And those first guests will enjoy contemporary fixtures, warm and inviting colors and updated restrooms:
As you explore the rest of the property, you’ll find a LOT of amenities, including that world-class 18-hole golf course. But you’ll also experience new offerings like The Miller’s Table restaurant:
The space has been opened up dramatically, and it will be a great place to sit down and enjoy a delicious meal or grab a drink at the bar. No menu to share at the moment – the culinary team is working on the cuisine as I write.
The airy and bright rotunda will be a fantastic spot to meet friends, relax for a bit or get that email checked and responded to:
If you’re up for taking a dip, the indoor and outdoor pools are receiving several updates. Lounging outside in the summer sun is going to be a luxurious experience:
In addition to being a great place to vacation, Sawmill Creek is also a fantastic meeting and convention spot. On the southern side of the property, the convention center lobby and convention rooms will have updated furnishings, floor coverings and colors:
