It's Not Magic, It's Science - Matterhorn
Happy May, everyone!
It’s been super busy around here at America’s Roller Coast as we prepare for Opening Day – May 14, but not so busy that we forgot to launch the fourth video in our “It’s Not Magic, It’s Science” series.
In this installment, Rockwell Automation’s Global STEM Ambassador, Jay Flores, uses a soda bottle race experiment to show you the science behind the flying bobsleds of Matterhorn!
Have you had an opportunity to ride Matterhorn? Imagine being pulled in every direction while spiraling down the side of a mountain, but without the snow and, if your experience skiing has been anything like mine, the potential bumps and bruises. How did we recreate that feeling? Find out by viewing the full video here.
There is one last video coming of “It’s Not Magic, It’s Science,” and we saved the best for last, so stay tuned – you won’t want to miss the grand finale! If you missed any of the three prior video entries, you can find them on our YouTube channel.
Happy Watching – Ride On!
