Exciting Park News
We have some exciting news to share, just as we’re about to embark on our epic 150th Anniversary Celebration, kicking off tomorrow.
Now that summer has officially begun, our park operating schedules are back to daily operation for both Cedar Point and Cedar Point Shores Waterpark, with most Cedar Point nights ending at 10 p.m. This means more ride time, more electric nighttime park vibes and of course, ending the day with the Celebrate 150 Spectacular. And on July 4th, we’re open until 11 p.m. so you can enjoy the Light Up The Point fireworks display!
Even better, we’ve added more operating days back to our Cedar Point & Cedar Point Shores Waterpark calendars in August! This means we’re now open daily at both parks through Labor Day, Sept. 6.
Hotel Breakers, Lighthouse Point and Express Hotel will also be open on these dates and overnight reservations are now available.
And for even more icing on the anniversary cake, beginning July 1, 2021, capacity limitations through the end of summer will be lifted at Cedar Point, so no one will need a park reservation to visit.
Note that reservations are still required at Cedar Point Shores Waterpark for all guests, so plan accordingly. You may still make those reservations at this link.
For the updated operating calendar, visit our dates and hours page. We will have more information on our fall operating dates and hours coming very soon.
As we all transition back to normalcy, we’d also like to thank you for your patience and understanding through all of this – we all want more Cedar Point in our lives, and, as we say, The Fun is Just Beginning!
