A Steel Vengeance Update

Tony Clark

We have an important update for you regarding Steel Vengeance. Having taken a few laps on the world’s first hyper-hybrid roller coaster, I can say that it’s an amazing ride. A ride unlike any other that I’ve been on.

When we prepare new attractions for opening, we run tests, prepare operating logistics and examine all aspects of the ride. And one of those aspects we look at is the rider height requirement.

Similar to rides like Maverick, Top Thrill Dragster and Valravn, Steel Vengeance offers a dynamic layout with unprecedented maneuvers, steep drops, airtime and it’s an entirely new category of roller coaster. It’s also a ride that lasts over two minutes.

To align with the rider height requirement of some of the other rides similar to Steel Vengeance’s strength and intensity here at the park, and with consultation with the ride’s builder, Rocky Mountain Construction, we have adjusted the rider height requirement to 52” tall to ride.

We appreciate your understanding. For the little cowpokes anxious to ride, Blackjack, Chess and Digger will be waiting for you when it’s time for your first adventure on the world’s first hyper-hybrid experience.
