6 Things to Know About Cedar Point's HalloWeekends 2025

'Tis the season for spooks and scares, and if you’re looking for Halloween activities in Ohio, look no further than HalloWeekends® presented by SNICKERS®.
Before you make the trip to Cedar Point this fall, here are 6 things you should know about this year’s screamingly-good fan favorite!
6 Things to Know About HalloWeekends 2025
1 – Not just haunted houses: Cedar Point Halloween offers cozy fall fun
It’s a pretty common misconception that all of Cedar Point turns into one big scary fright zone after the sun sets. This couldn’t be further from the truth! Our guests come from all over the world and we’re always hosting families and friends who may not be into the scary stuff.
So while there are fright zones and indoor haunted mazes, the scary parts are clearly marked so you know when you’re entering the shadows. Did we mention the entire park is decked out with Halloween decorations? Download the HalloWeekends event guide to see how the park is mapped out!
2 – Cedar Point rides are open during HalloWeekends
Rides, rides and MORE rides! Where else can you combine the world-record-breaking thrills of Siren’s Curse, Steel Vengeance and Maverick with everything Halloween has to offer?
Our most popular attractions are all open during HalloWeekends, including family rides, kids’ areas and even the Cedar Point & Lake Erie Railroad! Download our mobile app to monitor which rides and attractions are open during your visit.
3 – So much FUN for kids
Remember point number 1? HalloWeekends is family-friendly and for EVERYONE! From 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays, we bring fall kids activities right to our midways.
The littles can wear their Halloween costumes, enjoy trick-or-treat (with some delicious treats), mask making, pumpkin decorating, corn and hay bale mazes, and Halloween shows made just for them. Plus, we’ve made nice enhancements to The Magical House on Boo Hill, so there’s more to explore in this fall event favorite, and traditional activities are all included with park admission.
4 – The Conjuring: Beyond Fear
It’s unlike anything we’ve ever brought to you before, and the reviews are already coming in. Our guests LOVE this all-new scream-ium experience in Frontier Town.
The Conjuring: Beyond Fear takes you into iconic scenes from The Conjuring Universe, where you’ll lock away cursed artifacts before supernatural chaos is unleashed. It’s 20 minutes of pure terror you have to experience to believe.
This is an extra-charge attraction, and single tickets are available at the park – but be warned: they often sell out. You can also gain one-time access to The Conjuring: Beyond Fear with the purchase of a Haunted Attractions Express Pass, also available inside the park. As a reminder, indoor mazes and CornStalkers 2.0 require the new Haunted Attractions Pass for entry; outdoor fright zones are included with park admission.
5 – Opening Scarymoanies: Midnight Express
If you’ve been to HalloWeekends in the past, you may have seen our evening “kick-off” event on the big stage near Iron Dragon. With the debut of Siren’s Curse this year, that stage was removed, so we’ve made some dramatic changes to the show.
Our Screamsters (Cedar Point’s monsters) make the journey on the Cedar Point & Lake Erie Railroad back to the Frontier Town station where Mr. Midnight takes over and releases the Screamsters into the night.
Catch the action at the Frontier Town station Fridays & Saturdays at 7 p.m.
6 – Fall food to die for
Our culinary team pulls out all the stops during HalloWeekends, combining traditional fall flavors with over-the-top ideas and creations.
This year, you can catch several new items throughout the park, like Happy Lantern Fresh-Cut Fries (sweet potato fries with marshmallow cream and caramel) at Happy Friar, Purple Ectoplasm Wings (fried wings tossed in peanut butter and sweet Thai chili grape jelly) at Cedar Point’s Grand Pavilion Bar and Devil’s Night Pasta (cavatappi pasta with arrabbiata sauce, parmesan and herbs) at Hugo’s Italian Kitchen.
The new fall food favorite? The S’mores Chocolate Chip Cookie. It’s a traditional hand-made s’more embedded in the middle of a giant chocolate chip cookie. Oh, and it’s served warm, so you can pull it apart and be mesmerized by the melty goodness inside. Find this new item at Farmhouse Kitchen & Grill, Cedar Point’s Grand Pavilion, BackBeatQue, Coasters Diner, The Corral, Hugo’s Italian Kitchen and Happy Friar.
Of course, there’s so much more to see – so learn more about all things HalloWeekends online, and if you’re coming for the weekend, why not pick up a 2026 Gold Pass, giving you access to this year’s HalloWeekends, plus Cedar Point, Cedar Point Shores Waterpark and HalloWeekends next year?
It’s just about time for sweater weather, so join us out in the fog!
