Own a Piece of Maverick History

Did you know that when Maverick was first constructed, it contained a heartline roll element after the second launch?

That piece was replaced with an s-curve element to reduce stress on the trains, but the heartline roll track remained intact and was relocated into storage.

…until now.

A Collector’s Piece

You have the chance to own a piece of Maverick history with this limited-edition track slice from the removed heartline roll.

Only 390 total pieces have been created out of this track element – all contain a certificate of authenticity signed by Cedar Point’s Vice President & General Manager, Carrie Boldman.

Out of those 390 pieces, 100 have also been signed by Sandor Kernacs, representative from Maverick’s manufacturer, IntaRide. Sandor was the only person to ride Maverick with this piece in place.

How To Purchase

The limited-edition track pieces will be sold in-park only beginning this Saturday, October 12.

If you’re interested in purchasing, head to the Fast Lane sales booth at the Main Gate as early as 12:00 PM (the line will form at this time) and sales will begin at 1:00 PM.

  • Maverick pieces signed by Carrie Boldman & Sandor Kernacs: $349 each
