Hi there! I’m Cary and I’m a member of the Marketing Team for the summer of 2024. I’m here to tell you about something I’m particularly excited about – an all-new event happening at the park, and it kicks off Friday night. It’s Boardwalk Nights, running through Sunday, August 18 (except Tuesdays).
Everything starts nightly at 7 p.m. and wraps up around 10 p.m., so there is plenty of time to enjoy the atmosphere as the sun sets. And although there are a few nominal fees for food items and some games, all the entertainment and many activities are included with park admission.
Here’s some of the highlights of Boardwalk Nights:
Entertainment All Around You
It’s a beach and boardwalk party with live music, stunt performers, high dives, hot dog eating competitions, brass brigades and swing dance parties. Our historic waterfront boardwalk transforms into a whole new world packed with fun for all ages.
Don’t forget to dance under the stars on our mile-long dance floor with DJ Lemmy or be serenaded by the Singin’ SeaGals, Cedar Point's very own diva Dreamgirls. There is always something happening to keep the night lively and fun.
Summertime Food & Drink
Boardwalk Nights will offer some of your go-to traditional all-American favorites like gourmet flavored popcorn, colossal cotton candy and the over-the-top Tater-licious Footlong: a footlong hot dog loaded with pulled pork, mac 'n cheese, BBQ sauce and a bed of tater tots.
We’re also shaking up special beverages for Boardwalk Nights, including the Citrus Crush with fresh-squeezed lemons, sugar & water, shaken with VoHio Vodka and triple sec. Or try the Boardwalk Heatwave made with Minute Maid lemonade, cranberry, chipotle and pineapple flavors, all mixed together with Malibu Coconut rum!
Non-alcoholic lemonades and limeade shakers are also available, too!
