New Breakfast Pastry Delights
There's always a lot going on at the ol' amusement park, and this week is no exception. We're excited to introduce a new member to the Communications Team, and you'll meet her in the coming days. I'm delighted to have her on board, and I think you'll enjoy seeing the park through her eyes. She'll be writing a blog post as a little "get to know me" intro, so be on the lookout.
In the meantime, close your eyes...
Picture it. Sandusky. July. 2022.
You’ve arrived at the park. Found the perfect parking spot. Opened the official mobile app and quickly scanned your Season Pass at the turnstiles.
But there’s only one problem…
You’re hungry. That’s right. You forgot to eat something before you drove to Cedar Point (just work with me on this one).
Well, it’s so funny that you should mention this happened to you, because we have an entirely new lineup of flaky deliciousness that’s now available at French Quarter Confections, located near the Main Gate.
Normally serving famous funnel cakes and other tasty desserts, French Quarter Confections is now open mornings with a lineup of baked goods, breakfast pastries, and of course, COFFEE (I type in all caps when I don’t have my coffee).
Would you just look at that spread? Mmmmmmmm…
So what are we looking at? Let’s dive in.
First up, the flaky cream cheese Danish pastry with a lemon glaze (and you can grab your fresh cup of coffee, too):
Adding a little fruit flair is the raspberry Danish with a sweet, raspberry center:
When I first laid eyes on this one, I knew it was going to be de-LISH. It's the maple pecan croissant with a sugar glaze:
You can also snag a few staples from French Quarter Confections, like fresh-made donut holes with cinnamon or powdered sugar:
And my fav, the beignets with powdered sugar:
Rounding out the lineup, it's two types of cinnamon rolls you may see (these offerings will rotate). There's a traditional cinnamon roll with glaze:
And there's a more flaky, pastry-like cinnamon roll with a drizzle of glaze:
Are you ready to dig in?
Stop by French Quarter Confections any morning from park opening until noon and give them a taste!
