On this damp and spooky Halloween, there are no TRICKS in this blog post – only TREATS!

Why? Well, the countdown is officially ON!

Not even 24 hours after our 2022 season has wrapped up for the winter, we’re pleased to share some exciting details about next year.

Cedar Point’s 2023 Opening Day is scheduled and set for Saturday, May 6! This means there are 187 days until we can all ride, dine, dance and play for the next summer season (please update and reset your personal countdown clocks on your phones, wall calendars, Etch-a-Sketches, dry erase boards, computers and tablets).

May 6, 2023 will also be your first chance to see all the NEW FUN at The Boardwalk, including Cedar Point’s Grand Pavilion, the Wild Mouse spinning roller coaster and a fantastic collection of family rides all alongside the place where our history began – the Cedar Point Beach.

Let your planning begin NOW. Our entire 2023 operating calendar is now LIVE, including dates and hours for HalloWeekends.

Plus, our 2023 Gold Pass special offer has been extended! It includes unlimited visits to Cedar Point & Cedar Point Shores Waterpark for all of 2023, plus free parking, discounts, special events and more. It’s just $125 (plus the usual taxes and fees) right now, but that price will go up November 4, 2023. Don’t wait on it. When you do the math, that’s just about $ 0.84 per operating day. Not sure you can match that kind of value with everything Cedar Point has to offer.

If all of that’s not enough, you can also reserve your overnight stay at our Cedar Point Resorts properties, including Hotel Breakers, Lighthouse Point, Castaway Bay, Express Hotel and Sawmill Creek. Special packages are available that include tickets and add-ons, so make sure you check those out.
