Bands in Residence is Back

If you’ve been to some of our entertainment stages in the past two years, you’ve seen some great live music.

Of course, we produce many of the shows at the park, but there’s a unique opportunity that we want to make sure you don’t miss, especially if you’re a live band or performing artist.

A few years back, we introduced our Bands in Residence program. We invited vocalists, bands and artists from all over the country to apply for a chance to have a limited-run “residency” on some of our stages at Cedar Point.

As a musician myself, I thought it was pretty sweet to see. There was a little bit of everything: pop, country, rock, soul…combined with beautiful voices and chill vibes.

I think the real hook (see what I did there?) of this program is the amazing setting of Cedar Point and the opportunity to play for thousands of guests each day.

Selected bands will be given specific days and times to play at the park, and in general, we’ll have artists here any time between opening and Labor Day. The Gossip Gulch and BackBeatQue stages will be your home at the park – both of these venues give you the opportunity to allow your ear candy to permeate the midways around you, and I can guarantee guests will stop to enjoy your sounds.

But time is of the essence. Get your crew together and apply at allegro speed so we can select the lineup in short order. Head over here to begin the process.

Prepare that ultimate playlist. Polish up the guitar and your pipes. Be true to yourself and your style – and bring it to our stage.

We’re looking forward to hearing (and seeing) you!
