A Summer Pass Top 5

Tony Clark Photo Tony Clark |
April 15, 2022

As the excitement of the summer season is creeping up on all of us, perhaps you may have missed that we recently introduced the new $99* Summer Pass.

This limited-time offering is perfect for anyone who wants the “core” Cedar Point experience in the heart of the summer.

So why would you snag one of these and not another type? Let’s dive into it with what I’m calling (and this is official, folks), the “Top 5 Reasons to Purchase a 2022 Summer Pass.”

Now that’s fancy.

#5 UNLIMITED ADMISSION

We now have a variety of ways to pick admission that’s right for you. And if you find yourself just going to Cedar Point over and over and over again, the Summer Pass is probably perfect for you. It’s valid for unlimited admission to Cedar Point only, May 7 – Labor Day, 2022.

Cedar Point Amusement park midway during a summer night

You’re the type that just wants to ride Steel Vengeance and Millennium Force; the Cedar Point Shores Waterpark experience isn’t in the cards. Maybe Planet Snoopy makes the kids happy and that’s all it takes to put a smile on their faces. Visit any time you’d like, May 7 – September 5.

#4 FREE PARKING

Need I say more? Without the Summer Pass, you’d be paying for parking each time you stopped over. And even if you visited just twice, you’ve already saved a TON. It’s a no-brainer.

#3 ACCESS TO THE BEST EVENTS

If you’re looking for some spectacular summer events, you’ll find them at Cedar Point – and with the Summer Pass, you get to see to all of them.

Guests playing a game at Cedar Point's Frontier FestivalI’m talking the super-popular Frontier Festival with all its hearty food portions and live entertainment; I’m talking Cedar Point Nights, our celebration of the place where it all began: the Cedar Point Beach; I’m talking the amazing Celebrate Cedar Point Parade & Spectacular, which, if I may say, literally brought a tear to my eye. You’ll see all of it!

#2 THE PRICE

Let’s face it – everything around us costs more, even in the entertainment category. Whether it’s a movie, a concert or a sporting event, they all charge a premium (and they usually only last hours).

For giggles, let’s say you visited Cedar Point three times this summer and bought daily tickets, which are currently $45 at the time of this posting (when purchased on our website, and that price could change depending on the day you pick). You’d pay over $135 just in admission, and that’s just for 3 visits.

At $99*, you’re getting daily summer access to the park, plus the free parking, plus Pass Perks offers…it just makes sense, especially if you don’t plan on visiting Cedar Point Shores Waterpark or the other Cedar Fair parks across the country.

…and the drumroll for the top reason to pick up a Summer Pass please….

#1 CEDAR POINT IS LYFE!

This is your happy place from Opening Day through Labor Day. It’s your lifeline. You want Cedar Point and nothing but Cedar Point. You breathe America’s Roller Coast. You’re the biggest fan and you don’t care about being any place else. It’s in your D-N-A. You ARE Cedar Point.

A dramatic number 1? Yes. But take a step back and look at it all – the value in the Summer Pass is quite ridiculous. We’ve listened to guests who want that core Cedar Point experience, and this is the result.

The best part about my previous point: if you did decide you wanted to add Cedar Point Shores, HalloWeekends, Early Entry, in-park discounts and Bring-A-Friend tickets, you can still upgrade to a Gold Pass for just $36 more.

I can’t stress this enough – the 2022 Summer Pass is a limited-time offering, so you need to grab one now before they go away.

See you this summer?
