I have a 2019 Platinum, Platinum Jr/Sr and/or Regular Season Pass and would like to purchase a 2020 Pass. Am I a Renewal or New Passholder?

Any existing 2019 Passholder is a Renewing Passholder in 2020.

Will I get a new card if I change card types?

Yes, you will get a new card on your first 2020 visit.

Can I get my parking credited during my visit if I purchase a 2020 Cedar Point Gold Pass or Platinum Pass during my visit?

Yes, present your parking receipt from that day while purchasing your Season Pass at the window to receive full credit. One parking refund per pass purchased.

Are Platinum Passes valid at Schlitterbahn New Braunfels and Schlitterbahn Galveston?

Yes, you can use your Platinum Pass at Schlitterbahn New Braunfels and Schlitterbahn Galveston.

How do I get my pass after I purchase online?

In your email order confirmation, you will receive a Season Pass voucher. This will be used for parking upon your first visit, and you will exchange this voucher for a physical card as you enter the park at the gate. This voucher can be printed, or displayed on a mobile phone.

Can I upgrade a ticket to the 2020 Cedar Point Gold Pass?

Any ticket can have its admission value applied toward a Season Pass as long as the ticket is unused, or it is upgraded on the day of the visit.

If I have a 2019 Regular, Platinum, or Pre-K Pass, can I renew to a 2020 Cedar Point Gold Pass?

Yes, you can renew any 2019 Season Pass to a 2020 Cedar Point Gold Pass. Simply visit our online store for Cedar Point Gold Passes and select "renewal." You will enter your 2019 pass number and phone number to renew.

If I buy a 2020 Cedar Point Gold Pass on the payment plan, can I use it right away, or do I have to wait until it is paid off?

As long as you are up-to-date on your current payments due, you can start using your Cedar Point Gold Pass right away, even on the payment plan.

Can I buy discounted tickets for friends with a 2020 Cedar Point Gold Pass or Platinum Pass?

Yes, 2020 passholders can purchase Bring-A-Friend Tickets. Visit our Bring-A-Friend calendar page for more details and to purchase.

I purchased a Season Pass Online. Do I need to process my pass at the park before adding it to the mobile app or my online profile on the park site.

No, you should have received a confirmation when purchasing your Season Pass online. This confirmation included a link to your pass vouchers. You can either:

  1. Scan the barcode on your ticket voucher with the mobile app to add it to your app for park entry; or
  2. Complete the online processing at www.cedarpoint.com/activate and add the pass to your online profile by typing in your 20-digit barcode.

I purchased a Season Pass either online or through a mass retailer (such as Discount Drug Mart), do I need to visit Season Pass Processing at the park before using my pass to enter the park?

No, you can now complete season pass processing online by visiting  www.cedarpoint.com/activate and entering the 20-digit barcode number you received. The website will gather any outstanding information required and allow you to add your pass to an existing or newly created online profile.

Can I add more than one pass to my mobile app or my online profile?

Yes, you can add multiple passes to your online profile or your mobile app, so you can have all or your family’s season passes in one convenient location. Please note that adding passes to the mobile app will not automatically associate them with your online profile at this time. Nor will adding them to your online profile automatically add them to your mobile app. But you may add them to both places separately.

I don’t have an 8-digit code for my Season Pass, how can I add it to the app?

Your ticket should include a 20-digit barcode or QR code or your 16-digit on your ticket card purchased at a local retail store (e.g.. Discount Drug Mart or Meijer). You can scan this barcode with the mobile app to add the pass to your app directly. If you have the 20-digit code but do not have the QR code / barcode for some reason, you can create a barcode online easily using a site such as http://www.barcode-generator.org/. Simply enter your 16-digit or 20-digit number on the site and scanning the QR code generated.
