ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assists in communicating and distributing seasonal benefit information including, but not limited to, ACA compliance, periodic seasonal benefit communications and other verbal or written communications, as directed.
  • Perform administrative responsibilities for HRIS systems, including payroll (Accero), ATS (JobNet), TAS (WorkForce), scheduling (When To Work), Unemployment Claims processing and On boarding processes (Equifax, ERS), including processing and report writing, as required.
  • Assists in all facets of the seasonal recruiting program strategies and development including pre season and post season college recruiting, J 1 program, local and domestic programs.
  • Oversees the seasonal orientation training programs to include staffing of trainers, program development and refinements.
  • Communicates with associates at all levels of the Company and key external contacts including vendors, other business contacts, regulatory agencies and local, state or federal government offices. Utilizes various formats of communication including verbal, written and statistical data. Communications may be complex and cover a variety of business related topics.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of operating budget for areas of responsibility. Make overall adjustments to meet departmental goals.
  • Provide training and direction to line associates Coach and counsel associates to improve performance. Delegate work assignments. Motivate staff to achieve optimum job performance through positive feedback and personal example.
  • Work with associates and management to determine, document and implement reasonable job accommodations for sincerely held beliefs.
  • Work with associates, management and First Aid staff to determine, document and implement reasonable job accommodations based on the employee's verified claim of disability.
  • In conjunction with the HR Manager, monitor the associate progressive discipline system to include reviewing issued disciplinary action, reviewing and approving final warnings and terminations. Work with division management, counsel and coach division management regarding consistency of disciplinary actions.
  • Act as an employee relations representative for concerns involving associate issues such as harassment and discrimination claims. Receive initial associate complaint reports, conduct investigations and recommend corrective actions. Accurately and thoroughly document investigations. Liaise with Cedar Point Security/Detective Bureau to follow up on police reports involving associates.

SUMMARY:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
  • Develops and implements day-to-day media relations and PR efforts to increase parks and resort brand awareness, attendance and advocacy across all earned media channels.
  • Develops the annual media relations and social content plans for parks and resorts with goals, budget and tactics for print, broadcast and online, and social channels.
  • Monitors, analyzes and communicates earned media ROI on a quarterly basis.
  • Identifies and builds a strong network of media contacts in major regional markets through consistent phone/email interaction, monitoring of social handles, researching reporter coverage, conducting in market visits, etc.
  • Creates and executes compelling pitches and press releases on what’s new, events, promotions, trends, and partnerships.
  • Crafts creative ideas or ways to get the media’s attention; creates and leverages content that will generate PR and provide value on social and online channels

SUMMARY:

The Information Technology Manager plans and administers the development and maintenance of effective, efficient computer business applications, systems, network and connectivity services and daily computer operations, under little or no direct supervision. Oversees the Telecommunications department and all related functions. ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

JOB SUMMARY:


This position has broad responsibility for the implementation and day-to-day functional administration across both the Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) and JD Edwards suite of finance applications. This position functions as a key team member of the Corporate Finance group. This role requires knowledge in financial reporting, consolidation and data mapping (ETL) software products, along with a basic understanding of GAAP, multi-currency consolidations and financial statement presentations. This team member must be able to work both independently and as contributing team member, to meet team and department goals.

SUMMARY:

The Area Manager of the Merchandise Warehouse manages the merchandise warehouse according to company and departmental guidelines. Responsible for all receiving and shipping of inventory through the merchandise warehouse. Ensures self and all subordinates adhere to established policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
  • Ensures all department vehicles are in good operating condition. Coordinates all vehicle maintenance through the garage.
  • Monitors potential shrink and damaged merchandise for merchandise warehouse. Monitor damage transfers that the warehouse processes from retail facilities. Monitors and thoroughly trains staff to follow FIFO (First in, First Out) procedures on all perishables.
  • Ensures that facility orders are fulfilled accurately and delivered by the required time.
  • Manages the location of product in the warehouse. Ensures that all products received from deliveries are located in the inventory system and are physically located in the warehouse. Confirms that the transfer of product between locators is performed correctly.
  • Manages the receiving of product into the warehouse. Ensures that products are correctly documented on receivers in a timely manner.
  • Coordinates with the merchandise data office to review any discrepancies from invoices and packing slips.
  • Manages inventory control in merchandise warehouse. Reviews inventory reports regularly from Dataworks to monitor variances and products that need further inspection. Performs daily, weekly and physical inventory counts. Processes any adjustments in a timely manner.
  • Monitors Open Retails through My Micros and ensures that all Open Retails are corrected by day's end for the entire department.
  • Utilizes the available resources and takes responsibility to learn new duties.
  • Ensures employees provide outstanding guest service. Trains, motivates and evaluates employees on a continual basis to provide excellent guest service.
  • Ensures that all resale products are properly ticketed when received with vendor UPCs or printed barcode tags. Confirms that items not tagged by the vendor or manufacturer are properly labeled with a printed barcode tag or sticker prior to being located within the warehouse or transferred to retail facilities. Ensures that UPC information is entered into the inventory system.
  • Monitors cash over/shorts for mobile carts regularly and communicates with the merchandise auditors to identify problem areas. Disciplines employees appropriately for cash variances and other violations of cash handling procedures.
  • Ensures all subordinates adhere to department and company policies and procedures. Trains, motivates and evaluates employees on a continual basis.
  • Adheres to and enforces all Cedar Fair and specific Park policies and procedures, including safety, attendance and EEO policies, and demonstrates commitment to customer service in all aspects of employment.
  • Manages an area within a department with several direct and indirect reports encompassing a variety of job titles within a specific department.
