We Are Also Hiring for the Following Positions:

  • Singers, Dancers, Singer/Dancers, & Singer/Musicians
    • Our shows feature entirely LIVE vocals. We are looking for singers with strong stage presence that can stylize appropriately. Females: please demonstrate a warm belt. Males: please show us your vocal range. Click here for more information.
  • Musicians & Singer/Musicians
    • We are looking for the following: Fiddle, Banjo, & utility players, Guitar (electric & acoustic), Percussionist (drum kit), Tuba, Sousaphone, Trumpets, Tenor Saxophone, Trombone and Keyboard players. Click here for more information.
  • Stage Managers, Technicians (including Audio Technicians), Deck Crew, Prop and Lighting Technicians
    • We are looking for a professional stage manager with sound and lighting experience, audio technicians with live mixing and track experience, deck technicians with rigging experience & lighting technicians with a strong intelligent lighting or follow-spot background.   • Stitchers & Costume Shop Personnel
    • Cedar Point is looking for stitchers and dressers. Available positions include: Costume shop supervisor, stitchers and dressers. Click here for more information.
  • Improvisational & Character Actors
    • Actors should prepare a 30-60 second monologue appropriate for a family-park atmosphere. You may also be asked to improvise at the audition site.
  • Costume Characters
    • Must be 4’ 6” – 5’ 2” (BFOQ). With the addition of Woodstock, we need several character performers who are 4’ 6” to 4’ 8”. All other Peanuts™ characters must be between 4’ 8” and 5’ 2”. Previous experience in children’s theatre, recreation, education, costume character performance or related work is helpful, but not necessary. Must be physically able to handle the demands of working in full body costume – i.e. IT GETS VERY HOT!!! Also, there is limited peripheral vision and movement.
  • Karaoke Hosts & DJ’s
    • Karaoke hosts are needed for Camp Snoopy & DJ’s are needed for some of our most popular rides, as well as Luminosity, our nighttime celebration. Please submit a resume with any DJ, Karaoke, acting, or stage experience and any experience you may have had working with children. You may be asked to improvise at the audition site.
  • Character Escorts
    • Must enjoy working with children. Must also be self-motivated, enthusiastic and work well without constant supervision. Should be able to relate to children both as a teacher/authority figure and as a friend.
  • Theatre Ushers
    • Positions are available for ushers who greet and assist guests at our various venues. Must be friendly, enthusiastic, and work well with others.
  • Office Clerks
    • Must be organized, friendly, and self-motivated. Must also have good communication skills and work well without constant supervision. Computer skills are a plus.
  • Production Staff Personnel
    • We are looking for qualified supervisors for the following production staff positions: Music Supervisor, Technical Supervisor, Assistant Choreographer and Costume Shop Supervisor. Previous experience in your particular area of interest is preferred.


2013 Pay Rates*   

  • Singers, Singer/Dancers, Dancers, Musicians: starting at $528 per week (based on a daily rate of $88/day)
  • Technical Staff: starting at $444-$456 per week (based on a daily rate of $74-$76/day)
  • Costume Technicians & Costume Shop Staff: starting at $444 per week (based on a daily rate of $74/day)
  • Theatre Ushers, Office Clerks & Costume Character Escorts: starting at $7.85 per hour
  • Peanuts™ Characters: starting at $8.45 per hour
  • Production Staff: starting at $540 per week (based on an hourly rate of $11.25 per hour)
