Performing Band Guidelines

  • Marching bands can schedule any day of Cedar Point's season. Openings are limited and we may be unable to accommodate all requests. Place your reservation as soon as possible.
  • Anyone entering the park will require an admission ticket (this includes anyone not staying after the performance).
  • All performing band members must be clothed in appropriate performance attire. Acceptable dress includes formal uniforms or matching shirts with the band, choir or school name and must be tucked into shorts or pants. Only appropriately-dressed performing band members qualify for the special band ticket rate. Unfortunately, Cedar Point does not provide a changing facility.
  • All performances before Labor Day must occur before noon. On weekends in September, October & November, they must occur before 1 p.m.

Gather your school choir, jazz ensemble or band of 15 or more students and perform on stage at the World's Best Amusement Park! Advanced reservations are required. Must have 15 or more choir students to qualify. Children 2 and under are always free at Cedar Point & Soak City. Please note that our performance stage is 20' x 24'.

Performing Guidelines

  • Make your ticket reservation with the Group Sales Office by calling 1-800-448-2428 or make the reservation online. When calling to make your reservation, please indicate you are a performing group or reserve online and select Performance.
  • Once your reservation has been made with the Group Sales Office, complete and fax in the 2014 Performance Packet. Once we receive your completed Performance Packet, a member of our Live Entertainment Staff will contact you to setup your performance time.
  • After you have made your reservation and have been contacted by our Live Entertainment Staff, if you have any questions about your tickets or park admission, please contact the Group Sales Office at 1-800-448-2428. If you have any questions about your performance or technical questions, please contact the Live Entertainment Office at 419-627-2388 or email liveshows@cedarpoint.com.

Tab - Choral Festival

Choral Festival, Friday May 16th and 23th


The Cedar Point Choral Festival is designed for High School, Junior High, Middle School and Elementary Choirs to have the opportunity to perform at the Jack Aldrich Theatre at Cedar Point in front of adjudicators. Performances will include a total of 30 minutes on-stage. Groups have 15 minutes to warm-up and 15 minutes to perform.

Through this exclusive program, your performers will get the chance to learn from professional dancers, play all day at Cedar Point and perform in front of thousands.

Feeding a group of students can be a challenge. Why not leave the work to us? With our student group catering options, we offer delicious All-You-Can Eat meals for your entire group at one low cost per person. Space is limited for this popular group option, so it’s best to make your catered reservation as soon as possible so we can hold a spot for your group. Minimum 25 students, payment required in advance.

Drink Wristbands


Screaming at the top of your lungs while riding rides all day is sure to make anyone thirsty. Our drink wristbands allow your entire group to enjoy fountain soft drinks at most walkup midway food locations all day long. These group exclusive drink wristbands must be purchased for more than or equal to the number of group tickets purchased. Reserve with your group tickets.  $8.00 per person plus tax.


Meal Voucher


Give your group members the flexibility to Eat-On-The-Go at their convenience with our prepaid meal voucher. Pay one low price and members of your group can choose one of four delicious meals available at select Cedar Point midway locations.   $11.39 plus tax per person.

Vouchers are good for one of the following meals on the day of your event:

Double Dogs Meal - Two regular hot dogs, potato chips & regular soft drink
Valid at Corral and Grandstand Refreshments

Cheeseburger Basket Meal - Cheeseburger, fries and regular soft drink
Valid at Stockade Refreshments, GateKeeper Refreshments, and Round Up
