Behind the Scenes

Hey Everyone! Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving! While we were stuffing our faces with turkey and all the trimmings, the construction on GateKeeper was moving right along. The first hill is scheduled to be completed this week, and no doubt will look AMAZING!!

I was out in the park the other day with Brian Short, Area 2 Rides Manager, and he took some pictures that I think you’ll all enjoy taking a look at. There are a couple pictures of the launch mechanism at TTD (per request), as well as a picture of Monster stripped down and getting ready for winter.

I also threw in a picture of Millennium Force with a bunch of tombstones from HalloWeekends.

I plan on heading over to the new off-site ride rehab shop and taking some pictures in the near future, as well as GateKeeper and the Main Gate, so stay tuned!

What is the new-off-site ride rehab shop?

Thank you for the update, Colleen! Nice to see those photos. Possible to get some behing the scenes pics of the goings on in the resorts during the off-season? Even how they winterize the cottages, or how the lobby of Hotel Breakers looks?

Great update! Any chance we will be seeing another one of the webcams moved closer to the Gatekeeper site in the near future?
