Ride Steel Vengeance First

We’re inching closer and closer to the grand opening of Steel Vengeance, the world’s first hyper-hybrid roller coaster.

With that, there are a couple of events that we’re hosting prior to the public debut on May 5 & 6.

You can read more about them here, but I wanted to answer a few questions here before tickets go on sale.

The first chance to ride is the Steel Vengeance First Rider Benefit on Friday night, April 27. All proceeds from this event go to the LeBron James Family Foundation.

This event is from 6 – 10 p.m. and includes rides on Steel Vengeance, Maverick, food & beverage and more.

Ticket sales are limited for the event and all tickets get you the above benefits. The first level of tickets is $75 per person (you ride as many times as you want, but the very first train/trains are unavailable).

The next level is $250 and guarantees you a seat on the very first public train (and bragging rights).

Note that at this event, you can ride as many times as you are able to, based on line length and event time (add disclaimer for weather/maintenance conditions).

The next event is exclusively for 2018 Season & Platinum Passholders. This event is stretched over 3 days, April 30, May 1 and 2 from 4 – 10 p.m. each day.

This event is FREE, but you MUST reserve a ticket online prior to the event and availability is limited each day. You are only able to attend ONE of the three days and you MUST enter your valid Season Pass number when claiming your free ticket online.

The big question has been “how many times can I ride Steel Vengeance?” The answer is one time. When you arrive, you’ll receive a timed ticket – this will tell you when to get into the Steel Vengeance line to ride.

However, note that most of FrontierTown is also open for fun, so you have Maverick, Mine Ride and a host of other things to ride and check out while you’re waiting! Plus there are free samplings of food offerings, and who doesn’t love food?

Tickets for the Steel Vengeance First Rider Benefit will go on sale this Monday, March 19. Tickets for the Passholder FrontierTown Hoedown will be available April 10. For both events, the tickets will be made available in the afternoon.

We hope to see you!
