 French Quarter Confections Construction Tour

Even though the park isn’t open yet, our team has still been hard at work finishing up construction on a new building that is offering treats of all shapes and sizes. When Cedar Point opens, French Quarter Confections will serve funnel cakes, waffles and ice cream with loads of toppings at the front of the park.

Here’s what the outside of the building looks like now:

Look at the detail in the faux balcony (cue the oohs and ahhs).

On the other side of the building, we’re preparing the area for tables and umbrellas to be delivered.Outdoor dining area at the newly renovated French Quarter Confections at Cedar Point

Let’s head inside and see what’s happening.

When you first step inside, here is what you see:

Similar to how you enter BackBeatQue, you will have the option to choose one of two sides to make your selection. Here’s what the left side looks like…

Here’s a closer look at what’s behind the counter. So. Many. Waffle makers!

This concludes the tour, my friends. We’re excited for you to see this beauty in person, and we’ll keep you up-to-date with other projects in the park soon.
