Congratulations are in order.
Now that she has her first season under her belt, it's time to celebrate. Right now, she's currently resting and sleeping. You know, the "GateSleeper."
I kid, I kid.
But seriously, folks. We're happy to share that one of the companies that literally laid the foundation for our world-record-breaking wing coaster has recently been recognized as one of the prestigious 2013 Build Ohio Award recipients!
This means that their impressive attention to detail has been noticed. A.A. Boos & Sons poured GateKeeper's station foundation and the more than 150 footers that keep the supports in place.
Scott Hayes, VP of A.A. Boos & Sons said, "It was a complicated and challenging job that our talented workforce embraced. They approached this endeavor with creativity and flexibility, and most importantly, performed this job safely."
The award is given by the Associated General Contracters of Ohio to celebrate the commercial construction industry and to recognize contractors for excellence in construction.
A.A. Boos & Sons is located in Oregon, OH. And as you may or may not know, GateKeeper was built with many resources from Ohio, including steel and labor.
