Friday-palooza« Go Back Friday, April 25th, 2014
Why not start your weekend with a super-sized project update?
I mean, if you're reading this, you don't have a choice - you're still getting a heaping helping of fresh construction bliss!
The Gemini Midway is looking pretty spectacular. Pavement is in, landscaping has begun, and we're now hanging the lights that will go back and forth above your noggin. Those poles are for improved sound and lighting.
Pipe Scream's queue line is being assembled and installed:
Monster's tentacles are ready to grab the ride carriages...
In the mood for hoops? You can shoot some at this new games area to the left of Lake Erie Eagles:
Artsy plant. It's Friday. We're getting artsy.
The Wilderness Run queue area is nearing completion:
"Hey Tony - is SlingShot up yet?"
The short answer: no.
The long answer: no.
But hey - we've got footers going in! Remember, this ride will be installed later and it's scheduled to open in June.
The shade for Camp Snoopy Theatre is going up. Come see a show in all-new comfort!
Tucked away in Camp Snoopy directly behind Pipe Scream is the new location for Woodstock's Airmail (formerly Frog Hopper). The foundation is ready!
And for all you control booth enthusiasts, here's one for you...
Magnum XL-200 receives not only a new control booth, but a new control panel! The decades have been good to her, but she needed a refresh for her 25th Anniversary.
And I end this update with the sounds of Power Tower and Corkscrew cycling. I swear, this office is the best!
