MONSTERS WANTED: An Interview With A Screamster
Meet Brian from Sandusky. Lived here all his life.

Brian is a Screamster. And he's been doing it for 5 years. This HalloWeekends will be his 6th. If you're thinking about applying to be a Screamster, check out this interview. We asked Brian a few questions about his experience.
WHY DID YOU APPLY TO BE A SCREAMSTER?
I love Halloween and a friend who worked at Cedar Point told me about the job to go around and scare people in costume - and get paid for it.

IS IT AS FUN AS IT LOOKS?
Yes - to go around and scare people and then see their reaction is great and often hilarious!
IS IT AS EASY AS IT LOOKS?
Yes and no. It may take a few days to build a character, but once you do, it's easy. There's a lot of moving around and you do get a little sore, but it's worth it.

WHAT'S ONE OF THE BEST MEMORIES YOU'VE HAD SCARING PEOPLE?
One of the best memories I have is when I scared a big guy walking with his girlfriend, arm-in-arm, and he screamed and fell to the ground and pulled his girlfriend down with him!
WHY SHOULD ANYONE CONSIDER APPLYING?
If you like Halloween, you can get paid to scare people and you can do outrageous things you can't do at other jobs.
WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN NOT WORKING AT CP(REGULAR JOB, SCHOOL, ETC.)?
I work full-time for a locksmith. I like boating, fishing, going for motorcycle rides and going out with friends.
WHAT'S A GOOD SCREAMSTER SECRET YOU CAN SHARE WITH US?
Most of the Screamsters are really nice under the mask. We also like to keep track of how many big scares we get each night.

So, do you think you have what it takes to scare? Check out the information below and apply today!
