Matterhorn
Built in 1972, the Matterhorn gives its riders a taste of centrifugal force as the unique cars pivot into a horizontal position as the ride moves in a clockwise motion while traveling up and down. The Matterhorn thrill ride is located at the end of the park’s Main Midway, next to the looping Corkscrew roller coaster.
In 2006, 566,455 guests took a spin on Matterhorn. Riders must be at least 42 inches tall. Guests under 46 inches tall must be accompanied by a responsible person to ride.
