- A high-speed triple launch strata roller coaster. Riders will experience weightlessness, strong positive and negative forces, and rapid movements from side-to-side.
- An individual lap bar secures each Rider across the thighs and pelvis.
- The lap bar must be in firm contact with the pelvis and muscular parts of the thighs.
- Due to the nature of the restraint, this ride may not accommodate Guests of a larger size.
- A test seat is located at the ride entrance which can be used to ensure proper fit and comfort prior to waiting in line.
- Guests must have three functioning extremities.
- Two functioning arms are sufficient instead of three functioning extremities if the Guest has a normal center of gravity and lower extremities are sufficiently strong to maintain proper riding posture under the dynamic conditions of the ride. Amputation(s) must be below the knee. Guest must be seated in ADA vehicle.
- Guests may ride with one leg amputation; amputation must be below the knee.
- Guests with a cervical collar, neck brace, broken collar bone, full arm cast, braced arm cast, or full leg cast are not permitted to ride.
- Guests with any type of prosthesis should not ride unless they can ensure the device is properly secured and will remain in place during the ride.
- Alternate access is available at the ride exit.
- Guests will have to take several steps, on their own and be capable of stepping up and over the ride unit.
- A transfer device is available upon request which may assist a Guest out of a wheelchair and into the ride unit.
- Please do not use the ride restraints for support while entering and exiting, as they will shift.
- NOTE: Loose articles are not permitted past entrance. They may either be left with a non-rider or be placed in lockers for storage.
- NOTE: Glasses may only be worn on this attraction if they are secured with an athletic strap. Glasses may not be held in the hands of riders while riding.

An Exhilarating Race
Top Thrill 2’s track prowess is driven by state-of-the-art linear synchronous motor (LSM) technology, creating acceleration that’s seamless, smooth, quiet and FAST. First, shift into drive and launch from 0-74 MPH and climb toward the sky and experience a rollback as the train shifts into reverse and enters its second launch. Speeding to 101 MPH, you’ll accelerate backward and speed up a new, 90-degree, 420-foot-tall vertical tower and feel another moment of weightlessness before shifting into drive yet again, falling forward into the high-speed straightaway: a pedal-to-the-metal launch to 120 MPH, sending you to the top of the track, cresting the corner at 420 feet and right into a 270-degree spiral before crossing the finish line.
Reaching New Heights
Top Thrill 2 is the only vertical speedway in the world, featuring not one, but TWO, sky-dominating towers. The existing 420-foot tower will give every rider a guaranteed rollback – that unmatched moment when your racer doesn’t quite complete its lap and returns to the launch in reverse.
You’ll have commanding views of Cedar Point as you’re launched backward and straight up the all-new, 90-degree tower, looking straight down at Iron Dragon, Rougarou, Power Tower and even coaster icon Millennium Force before enjoying even more airtime.
