Alcoholic Beverage Policy

The Ohio Revised Code prohibits Cedar Point from allowing guests to bring alcoholic beverages into the park. The Ohio Revised Code does not permit guests to consume carry-in alcoholic beverages at any public area, including Cedar Point’s picnic shelters, parking lots, or beaches.

Alcoholic beverages are available for catered events, however, all alcohol must be provided by Cedar Point. Groups are not permitted to bring in their own alcoholic beverages. Guests are not permitted to enter or leave any catered area with an alcoholic beverage.

Beer is sold throughout the park. All individuals must be TWENTY-ONE YEARS OLD to purchase, possess or consume beer and other alcoholic beverages at all park locations. Our policy is: ONE VALID PHOTO I.D.*, ONE ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE.

* THE ONLY VALID I.D. IS A STATE DRIVER’S LICENSE WITH PHOTO OR A STATE I.D. WITH PHOTO.

Out-of-Park Locations

  • Famous Dave's (Full bar services)
  • Bay Harbor (Full bar services)
  • Tomo Hibachi (Full bar services)
  • Breakwater Cafe (Full bar services)
  • Bubbles Adult Swim Up Bar at Soak City (Full bar services)
  • Coffee Shop (Beer and wine)
  • T.G.I. Friday's® on the Beach (Full bar services)
  • Beaches 'N' Cream (Full bar services)
  • Sand Bar at Sandcastle Suites (Beer, wine and wine coolers)

Liquor, cocktails, and wine are sold at the Out-of-Park locations listed above, as well as non-alcoholic beer brands.

Sunday liquor sales are available from 1 p.m. to 12:00 midnight. All beer and alcoholic beverages MUST BE CONSUMED ON THE PREMISES.

Beer is available on Sundays.
