Housing

Cedar Point offers low-cost housing and amenities. (Employees must be 18 or older and have a permanent address that is 25 or more miles from Cedar Point.) All rooms and apartments are separated by gender and have multiple occupants. Housing fees range from $16.80/wk to $31.20/week and are deducted from paychecks.

Amenities

  • Bed linens and towels are provided and laundered at no additional cost.
  • Laundry facilities and public restrooms
  • There is one phone line in each room and cable television hook-ups are available.
  • Some housing units provide air conditioning as well as heat.
  • Microwaves and toasters are also available for employee use.
  • Almost all housing complexes contain a store in which food items and essentials are sold.

Vehicles

  • Employees obtain parking stickers from their individual departments.
  • Employees can park only in employee designated parking areas while at work or in residence.
  • Employee parking spaces are not pre-assigned and are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

What to Bring

  • Fan
  • Padlock for lockers at Commons Dorms
  • Wrist watch
  • Alarm clock
  • Pillow and extra blanket
  • Small Refrigerator (3.5 cubic feet or less) for dorm room
  • Personal computers and televisions are permitted - however owners do so at own risk.
  • Clothing for all weather types
  • Umbrella
  • Dishes, pots, pans - If living in an apartment

What Not to Bring

  • Heating elements including hot plates, microwaves, toaster ovens, etc.
  • Candles
  • Valuable Items
