PEANUTS™ Costumed Characters & Escorts

Cedar Point is proud to be the home of the world's most famous beagle, Snoopy! The Peanuts™ gang appears in many places throughout the park. They can be seen mornings at "Breakfast with the Peanuts", during the day in Charlie Brown's Funtime Frolics & Snoopy's Sing-A-Long at Camp Snoopy Theatre and at the Goodtime Theatre in Snoopy's Summer Vacation. Evenings Snoopy can be found at the hotel with "Sleeptight with Snoopy" and in "Snoopy's Suppertime"! The Peanuts™ gang is a very important reason why our guests come to Cedar Point.

The Escorts help the characters get in and out of costume. They also help the characters communicate with our guests and help keep them safe and protect them.

Employment dates are staggered throughout the season. Tentative employment dates are as follows:

*Bonus and Halloweekends® characters are usually filled by employees from the regular season. Please let the interviewer know if you are interested.

Character Qualifications

Characters must be 4'8" to 5'2" (BFOQ). Previous experience in Children's Theatre, dance, recreation, education, costume character performance or related work helpful, but not necessary. Must be physically able to handle the demands of working in full body costumes-i.e. IT GETS VERY HOT!! Also, there is limited peripheral vision and moment.

Pay Rate

$7.50/hour + Bonus
(Bonus is paid upon successful completion of the agreement period.)

Escort Qualifications

Must enjoy working with children (of all ages). Also, must be self-motivated, enthusiastic and work well without constant supervision. Should be able to relate to children as both teacher (authority figure) and friend.

Escort Pay Rate

$6.85/hour + Bonus
(Bonus is paid upon successful completion of the agreement period.)
