What could these people possibly be looking at (again)?



Oh yes.



It happened. Again.



But have no fear - they were returned safely to the midway and enjoyed their "extended" ride...



For those keeping score, that's the third time it's balanced a loaded train perfectly on top.

Hey Tony! The weather must have been great this holiday weekend up at the Point. Just a few questions: (1) How did you get the train down and (2) How long were they up there?

    1) We push it over. 2) about 10-15 minutes.

Hi, I was just wondering, if you push it over the top can't the riders just try to rock it over? Or is it actually stuck?

  • From Tony:

    It's very hard to understand the physics involved, but "pushing" and "rocking" doesn't work. The weather conditions, weight of the train and laws of nature were all at work here. It balanced perfectly on top - and you have to remember, these trains are quite heavy, so it's not as easy to move. The ride is perfectly safe and riders were never in any danger.

Hey Tony, Chuck from Dorney Park here. Did you pull the plug again? You have to stop that, three times is enough. Nice shots of this "unique" circumstance. I missed it by a week.
