Shoot the Rapids is Open!

The day has finally come! We opened Shoot the Rapids this morning to a crowd of excited fans. Came on a perfect day, too - hot & humid. Perfect for a new water ride!



Shoot the Rapids is already receiving rave reviews. We're posting a video to our YouTube channel shortly. You'll see the ride in action and hear what guests had to say about their ride.



A note about the height requirement: riders must now be 46" tall to ride. If you're between 46" and 48" tall, you must be accompanied by a responsible person.

Speaking of riding, we need your help (plus, it's your chance to be a star)!

We need riders who are willing to get wet for a chance to be in our TV commercial for Shoot the Rapids. Our TV shoot is scheduled for next Wednesday, June 30 beginning at 7 a.m. and lasting all day.

We need a wide variety of people - kids, adults, thrill seekers, etc. Please note that because of the high response, not all who apply to be in the commercial will be contacted. Also, first preference will be given to those who can be available all day.

Riders must obey the standard rider requirements and must wear brightly-colored tops/shirts. No logos on clothes.

Please also note that this is not exclusive ride time - there will be several times where you'll be doing nothing but waiting. It's a small price to pay for a chance at stardom!
