Educational Programs
At Cedar Point, learning is fun! We have many different programs that are sure to add an educational component to your class trip. Visit during Math & Science Week to learn how science and physics applies to our thrill rides and coasters, or take some time to learn about the "Business of Fun" with our Amusement Park 101 program. New in 2012, journey to prehistoric times with Dinosaurs Alive! on Adventure Island and learn about a time when dinosaurs roamed the earth! Click on the tabs below to learn more!
The Event
Students (grades K-12) can learn about the science behind their favorite thrill rides as they make their way through the new Math and Science Zone on the Main Midway. Educational partners for Math and Science Week will include NASA, COSI Columbus, and more. Special money-saving offers are available for groups.

Cedar Point K’NEX Great Thrill Ride Build-Off
Congratulations to the five winning teams of the Great Thrill Ride Build-Off! They are Fairbanks High School in Milford Center, Ohio; a homeschooled group from Eden Prairie, Minn.; Mason High School in Erie, Mich.; Glenfield Middle School in Montclair, N.J.; and Marshall Middle School in Wexford, Pa.
Each winning group will receive tickets to Cedar Point Amusement Park, a $250 credit for purchasing K’NEX building materials and a free K’NEX building set for each member of their class or group.
Come and check out the winning models on display during Math & Science Week May 14-18 and throughout the season in the Town Hall museum at Cedar Point!

Feeding a group of students can be a challenge. Why not leave the work to us? With our student group catering options, we offer delicious All-You-Can Eat meals for your entire group at one low cost per student. Space is limited for this popular group option, so it’s best to make your catered reservation as soon as possible so we can hold a spot for your group.

Drink Wristbands
Screaming at the top of your lungs while riding rides all day is sure to make anyone thirsty. Our drink wristbands allow your entire group to enjoy fountain Pepsi beverages at most walkup midway food locations all day long. These group exclusive drink wristbands must be purchased for more than or equal to the number of group tickets purchased. Reserve with your group tickets.

Meal Voucher
Give your group members the flexibility to Eat-On-The-Go at their convenience with our prepaid meal voucher. Pay one low price and members of your group can choose one of four delicious meals available at select Cedar Point midway locations. Reserve when you place your ticket reservation.
Vouchers are good for one of the following meals on the day of your event:
Double Dogs Meal - Two regular hot dogs, potato chips & Regular Soft Drink
Valid at Corral, Bayou Refreshments, Gazebo, and Grandstand Refreshments
Cheeseburger Basket Meal - Cheeseburger, fries and regular soft drink
